Fog Clouds Dream

So I slacked a little bit on posting my progress. Hell I’ve kind of been slacking on everything I’m supposed to be doing right now.

I don’t even know where to begin talking about what happened last week. So I won’t. Not yet. Not until I figure out how.

Anyway, I’ve been kind of slowly and steadily working on piece #2 and it’s nearing completion. Perhaps more importantly, I got an important lead. I need to make a phone call tomorrow, and we’ll see what happens. If everything goes well, it could open the doors to a flurry of activity that will lead ultimately to me getting everything done on time.

I’m being extremely vague on everything I realize, I dunno. I don’t wanna jinx it. Suffice it to say some progress is being made, but there’s still a long road ahead.

This evening marked the first time I’ve ever played softball in a lightning storm. There’s something about standing in the middle of a large field holding a metal stick in the air with a disorienting melange of wind, rain and electricity swirling about to make one consider one’s mortality rather than focusing on the task at hand. We lost, but I think we really won because everyone is alive still.

Ooh and I got a draft from Alli, so I’m gonna try to read it before I go to bed.

Nite!

  1. I keep my mouth shut to prevent jinxing things too. Just know that I’m terribly curious 🙂
